Our product

Clare Caron Ceramics is all handmade. We work hard to faithfully reproduce each piece to its intended design but due to the nature of the processes, differences in the clay, glazes, firing temperatures and Artisan styles can result in subtle variations in the finished product. This contributes to the unique appearance of each of our individual pieces.

All products are given a final inspection and only those products that meet our rigorous technical and aesthetic standards are designated “First Condition” and made available for our normal On Line sales. However in ordering the product the Customer acknowledges that:

(a) variations in colour, glaze and size are an inherent characteristic of all goods supplied by Clare Caron Ceramics; and
(b) Clare Caron Ceramics cannot and does not guarantee that the goods supplied will be an exact match or be a perfect likeness to any images on the Clare Caron Ceramics website, or any goods bought previously from Clare Caron Ceramics (this applies for all goods supplied by Clare Caron Ceramics, including sculpture, pots, wall art, kitchenware and homeware);
(c) The tolerance on dimensions is +/- 5%

Our Guarantee

If any Goods leave Clare Caron Ceramics premises which are defective in materials or workmanship, Clare Caron Ceramics is liable (at Clare Caron Ceramics election) only to repair or replace those particular Goods, or to provide a full refund except as required by law including the Consumers Guarantee Act and the Fair Trading Act.

Security & Payment

Swift or PayPal provide the a Hosted Payment Page Solution to Clare Caron Ceramics for the secure processing of the On Line sale payments. Details on their respective websites.


All our prices are in Euro. We reserve the right to change the prices at any time without notice. If a price is discovered to be incorrect after you have placed an order, in Good Faith and if it is reasonable we will endeavour to supply the product to you at that price. If that is not possible we will advise you prior to processing your order and shipping and offer you a full refund.


Our normal delivery is to ship your item in 3 to 5 working days with a maximum of 10 working days. If we are not able to ship within this time we will contact you to advise when the expected delivery will be and advise on possible alternatives. If you are not happy with either option we will offer you a full refund.

International Orders

In some instances local duties, VAT, taxes or GST may be applied in the country of receipt. Clare Caron Ceramics cannot take responsibility for these and they must be paid directly by the receiver.

Pick up at Castlecomer

A number of products listed on this website are very fragile and/or are too large to ship by courier or post. These items are marked 'Pick up at Castlecomer' and can be purchased online by checking the "Pick up at Castlecomer" option when you are completing your purchase.  The 'Pick up at Castlecomer' option can be chosen for any online purchase.

No shipping or additional cost is added to products purchased using this option. Collection may be made by appointment at Clare Caron Ceramics.   Clare Caron Ceramics will contact the purchaser with further information regarding collection.

Clare Caron Ceramics will pack the item as for normal retail purchase from our studio. Clare Caron Ceramics will have no liability for any damage that may occur to the item/s once collected from Clare Caron Ceramics, Castlecomer.  

Lost deliveries

Our responsibility is to deliver the correct number of undamaged packages to the address specified. This is not a person to person delivery. Clare Caron Ceramics is not liable for any lost or missing items where the delivery records show the order has been delivered complete to the address specified.


Clare Caron Ceramics products are made of Ceramic and can break or chip if handled roughly. We send our products all over the world and take care in our packaging. If the packaging looks damaged when you receive we would ask that this is noted on any delivery docket you sign and that you take a photo of the packaging showing the damage.

If the piece is broken we require a photo to show the product is broken and we will either send replacement product or give you a full refund at our choice.

Return Policy

Clare Caron Ceramics strive for 100% satisfaction upon opening our packages, however damages and mistakes can sometimes occur. Please contact us immediately and we will correct the problem. We should be notified of all returns prior to them being dispatched to us. If a full refund is requested this will be for the product only and excludes the freight costs.

Ordering and Title

Clare Caron Ceramics reserves the right for any reason to cancel any order at any time prior to dispatch and provide a full refund.
Title on the goods does not pass to the customer until payment in full has been made for the goods and they have been dispatched.


Our liability is limited to the Terms and Conditions listed above except as required by law including the Consumers Guarantees Act and the Fair Trading Act.
